As a social worker : Founder of Sri Sakthi Social Economical and Educational Welfare Trust . The trust has been working towards betterment by reforming the society, empowering women, improving rural economy, creating educational opportunities and protecting environment for the past 23 years.
Sri Sakthi Social Economical and Educational Welfare Trust, a registered body under Indian Trust Act, 1882 was established on 21-12-2001 and had obtained clearance under FCRA, and exemption under 12AA, 80G, Income Tax act.
Sri Sakthi Trust has been concentrating on, Women & Youth Development programs, focusing on youth welfare programs through vocational training, women’s development programs through promoting SHGs, child education in rural areas, promoting sports activities for rural children and youth, and skill development training. And also conduct agricultural promotional activities through farmer training programs, soil and water conservation activities with the guidance of NABARD and Tamil Nadu Watershed Development (TAWDEWA), and a climate-proofing project with the support of NABARD and the Adaptation Fund Board.
By promoting SHGs and providing livelihood training programs for women, destitute women , school dropouts girl and early marriage dropout children under Ministry of Handicrafts, DRDA, THADCO, Social Welfare Department – Govt. of Tamil Nadu, NABARD, SBI, Canara bank, ICICI bank, Animal Husbandry University / Fisheries College, and Karur Vysya Bank- CSR project. Around 2,00,000 women and youth have benefitted in Dindigul, Madurai , Karur and Theni District from 2001.
As a Managing Director of Farmers Producer Company Ltd :
Dr.S.P.Jothi has been the Managing Director of Ayyampalayam Farmers Producer Company, formed under the support of NABARD. Through this company, she has been guided around 1200 the farmers and promoting their business development in agriculture produces. Through this company, She has manufacturing preservative free food products such as all type of Masala powders, Millet nutri drinks, Fresh fruit Jam varieties and providing employment opportunity to rural women.
As an orator : Dr,S.P.Jothi has delivered online and offline motivational speeches , literary talks and given training on gender sensitization, women empowerment, youth development programs to nearly 200 colleges across Tamil Nadu and many International forums for the past 20 years. And She providing Climate resilient agriculture training programs for Farmers.

Apart from being the head of Sri Sakthi Trust, Dr,S.P.Jothi is a well – known writer under the pen name, Sakthi Jothi and has authored 15 books, which includes 13 Poetries and 2 books of collection of essays of her literary works.
And also she has written 10 books on Soft skills, Career guidance & Entrepreneurship, Watershed Management & Soil Water Conservation for her organization’s training program.
